Following the title track and live cut of “Wonderful (The Way I Feel)”, our third preview of My Morning Jacket’s forthcoming LP Circuital comes in the form of “Holdin On To Black Metal”. In an interview with Rolling Stone, frontman Jim James described the track as the “wildest” one on the album. “I want it to sound like we’re Cuban or Cambodian kids, and we’re wearing berets and we’re walking through an alley and we stumble upon this band, and it explodes into this crazy sing-along,’ keyboardist Bo Koster recalled James telling his bandmates during the song’s recording. You can stream the track on the band’s Facebook.

Along with the stream, the band has also unveiled Circuital‘s 10-song tracklist. Plus, they’ve announced a special hometown show at the historic Louisville Palace Theater on Circuital’s release date, May 31st. Fan club pre-sale tickets are available beginning April 26th, with a pubic on sale to follow on April 29th. Below, you can peep the tracklist as well as all of the band’s confirmed tour dates.
