There are few locations as dull as the laundromat. You can practically feel the minutes dripping by as you wait for your laundry to finish. In Timothy Melville’s short film, The Laundromat, our protagonist tries to pass time talking to a woman but strikes out. But once they both discover that he has a gun in his clothes basket, she’s suddenly interested. From there, things don’t exactly turn out for the best.
