The last time filmmaker Blu appeared on Cluster 1, it was behind his brilliant wall of animation for MUTO. As incredible as that video was, he’s outdone himself in BIG BANG BIG BOOM. Drips of white paint fall slowly at first, but soon appear faster and faster until the painting explodes into a Big Bang. From there, Blu shows us the creation of life with a combination of animation, actual objects, and clever camerawork. He also exposes a way in which life could end, bringing the film full circle.
