Check Out: Blink-182 – “Up All Night”

on July 14, 2011, 8:06pm

blink 182 up all night Check Out: Blink 182 Up All Night

Here’s a fun fact: Blink-182’s last single dates back to 2005 and even then that was for a greatest hits compilation. No, not since 2004’s synth-heavy “Always” have we heard a genuine single from the California trio. That changes today. Finally, after a year’s worth of touring under their belt, Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker return with “Up All Night”, tearing us all back to the early ’00s, when we weren’t wearing flannel and/or the latest hip shirt from Urban Outfitters, and instead were trending Vans and/or the latest hip shirt from PacSun. Oh, nostalgia’s great, for sure, and admittedly so is this track. Too bad my mother’s a nutbar; otherwise, I’d swing by the ol’ house and grab my faded Blink T, no doubt still dangling in the closet. #regrets

Update: Blink-182’s new album will be titled Neighborhoods, and is tentatively scheduled for release on September 27th.

World premiere via KROQ.
