In a day where b-sides are handed out for an email address, Ryan Adams’ vault remains legendary. Even with the recent releases of Orion and Cardinals III/IV, there are believed to a dozen plus albums in there, and at the top of at least my wish list is Adams’ front-to-back covers album of The Strokes’ Is This It. Unfortunately, board fodder will have you believe the record will never ever see release because Adams apparently claims it’s awful.

The acclaimed singer-songwriter does not, however, appear to feel the same way about his take on Vampire Weekend’s self-titled debut. Based off yesterday’s reveal of “Mansard Roof”, it sure as hell ain’t bad. And while Adams says the only copy of his “totally solo folk version” of the band’s record will be handed to Vampy Week’s Ezra Koening (via 24B), we wake up this morning to find another webcam video — this time of Adams covering track two, “Oxford Comma”.

Check out the video at Facebook. Here’s hoping the next eight mornings bring similar offerings.
