While music video may often wind up as part of a band’s visual show, it’s rare that the opposite happens. However, director Adam Carrigan was inspired by Pink Skull‘s new live show. The result is retro green screen effects that puts Julian Grefe as the reluctant master of this visual domain. In the mode of Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” and the Talking Heads “Once In A Lifetime”, the special effects transform a minimalist performance from Grefe into something eye-catching.
The physical version of Psychic Welfare will be available on September 13th worldwide. The LP edition features a 48″ x 96″ heavy-stock pull out poster. The digital version will be available September 27th.
