The Sounds hit North America this fall

on August 31, 2011, 4:38pm

Swedish (and, therefore, gorgeous) collective The Sounds return to North American roads this fall. Still in support of their fourth studio LP, Something to Die For, the dance-y punk rockers are bringing along pals Natalia Kills, The Limousines, and DJs Kids at the Bar, who will spin between sets. In other words, don’t expect this party to slow down. As Sounds guitarist Felix Rodriguez  puts it, “Our shows are energy, just pure energy.”

That autumn energy kicks off October 12th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and continues for the next month-and-a-half, where they’ll hit countless markets, including Boston, Minneapolis, Chicago, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Seattle, and, hey, even Quebec City! ”We’ll probably tour for another year on this album, and then go home to write new songs,” Rodriguez explains in a press release. “It’s on tour we collect ideas and get inspired to write.” That should make fans feel special.

If not, this certainly will. Starting today, lucky fans will have a chance to pick up tickets on the band’s official site, where they’re offering special bundle packs, which include the album and some other unique digital goodies. Check out the full list of tour dates below and then head over to the site. We also have the lyric video for the album’s lead single, “Better Off Dead”.
