At first glance, HEAD ON seems like the simple journey of a futuristic train. The cars move along the track through a seemingly endless desert before reaching an oasis of colorful lights. It’s in the city where everything starts to go wrong. This train isn’t on course, it’s a runaway silver bullet smashing through all in its path. A homage to German expressionism, Sergei Eisenstein, Stanley Kubrick and Gaspar Noé, this animated feature transitions from a slow-techno ride to a high-speed thriller.
