As previously reported, TV on the Radio’s Kyp Malone recently teamed with ex-Liturgy drummer Greg Fox to record Occupy Wall Street-inspired music. As Pitchfork points out, their first collaboration has now hit the web, an anthem titled “We Are” released under the moniker New Party Systems. Notekillers guitarist Dave First composed the track with Malone supplying vocals, Fox on drums, and Liturgy’s Bernard Gann on bass. Oneidia drummer Kid Millions was also reportedly involved in the collaboration, but does not appear on the track.

An mp3 is available for stream and/or purchase below. Further down is the track’s corresponding music video, featuring members of the Occupy Wall Street movement lip synching along to the music.

According to Pitchfork, New Party Systems plans to release more music in the future. They’ll also perform together at Brooklyn’s Union Pool on January 18th.
