hell in a handbasket cover Meat Loaf announces U.S. release of Hell in a Handbasket

Last September, Meat Loaf released his 11th studio album, Hell in a Handbasket, in Australia (good snag, Aussies). On March 13th, however, the arena rock god will finally unleash the 12-track effort stateside via Legacy Recordings.

In a press release for the effort, Meat Loaf called Hell in a Handbasket “the most personal record I’ve ever made,” adding, ”It’s really the first record I’ve ever put out about how I feel about life and how I feel about what’s going on at the moment.” The album features a few potentially interesting collaborations with the likes of Chuck D, Lil Jon, and Mark McGrath. Hopefully these odd partnerships will fare better than last year’s Lulu. Below you can check out a Star Wars-themed promotional video for Hell in a Handbasket followed by the full tracklist.
