dinosaurfeathers Check Out: Dinosaur Feathers Beatcha (CoS Premiere)

Brooklyn’s Dinosaur Feathers return with their brand of beach-ready experimental pop on April 10th with Whistle Tips. Below, you can preview the album track “Beatcha”. What begins as a puffed up march becomes an all-out ruckus by the time the chrous drops. Greg Sullo shows a nice breadth of vocal dexterity, reaching an Ezra Koenig falsetto on the refrain of “it reminds me of the good old days”. While the “oom ‘ey!” chants indeed harken back to the good old 80s, it’s replete with modern energy via building synths and snappy high-hats.

Dinosaur Feathers are in the midst of a tour that sees them teaming up with Built To Spill, Lucero, and Loch Lomond along the way. See their complete schedule, and Whistle Tips tracklist, below.
