Frank Ocean has scrapped plans for a commercial release of his standout mixtape, Nostalgia, Ultra. The commercial set was to be a seven-track EP, entitled Nostalgia, Lite. However, as The Fader points out, the OFWGKTA crooner has decided against the release, writing on his Tumblr, “What I look like a year later re-releasing my last album? Not icey. Bitch Im icey.”
To go along with the news, Ocean recently released a track called “Whip Appeal”, which was reportedly intended to be included on Nostalgia, Lite. Stream it below.
Ocean plans to release his debut studio album later this year. Stay tuned for more.
