This week, Tenacious D returns with its long-awaited third studio LP, Rize of the Fenix. Based on the band’s recent star-studded videos, featuring everyone from Val Kilmer to Tim Robbins to Danny McBride, JB and KG are going a little overboard with their big ol’ rock ‘n’ roll reunion – fiddling with demons, lasers, explosions, and everything in between. So, what better way to kick off their promotional week than in New York City and with David Letterman? That’s just what they did and with a performance of their crude stomper, “Roadie”.
