blur 2012 Listen: Blurs BBC Radio sessions

In anticipation of their final (?) tour ever, and headlining set at the Olympic closing ceremonies, Blur performed twice on BBC Radio earlier today. Appearing at the famed Maida Vale studios, the band played six songs, and participated in a Q&A, as part of a lengthy three-hour program that aired on BBC Radio 6 (listen the replay here). Then, they offered a full hour-long performance on BBC Radio 2 (listen to the replay here).

The first set included the first ever performance of 13′s “Caramel” and the second ever performance of the “Chemical World” b-side “Young & Lovely”. The second set featured the first performance of the Leisure-era track “Mr. Briggs” since 1992. You can find both setlists below.

Also be sure to read our new feature on Blur in which we dissect their entire discography. Check it out here.
