sex pistols never mind the bollocks Sex Pistols Never Mind the Bollocks gets deluxe reissue for 35th anniversary

Universal Music will mark the 35th anniversary of Sex Pistols’ seminal album Never Mind the Bollocks with an expansive reissue, reports Slicing Up Eyeballs. The 3 CD/1 DVD set will be available in the UK on September 24th, and is highlighted by the inclusion of the album’s original master tapes from 1977. Previously thought to be lost, the tapes were rediscovered earlier this year during the band’s move to Universal, and have since been remastered for the very first time by Tim Young and original producer Chris Thomas.

The set also includes previously unreleased recordings from 1977, including a lost demo of “Belsen Was a Gas” featuring John Lydon’s vocals, along with demos featured on the band’s Spunk Bootleg, live recordings of shows in Norway and Sweden in 1977, a replica 7″ of the withdrawn “God Save the Queen” single, and a 100-page hardback book featuring rare and unseen photos. Check out the full tracklist below.
