“A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.” -Willy Wonka

Aesop Rock – “ZZZ Top”

Aesop Rock and one kick ass Asian woman play baseball with some throwing knives in this clip. Eat your heart out Quentin Tarantino.

Charli XCX – “You’re the One”

Goth-pop goddess Charli XCX enlists the help of an army of tiny lookalikes in her latest video. Let’s all hope this isn’t part of some weird gothic spinoff of Toddlers & Tiaras.

Cultfever – “Knewyouwell”

Grab your flashlight for this video from Brooklyn duo Cultfever. The black and white shots mixed with some heavy static make it hard to discern much at all. But then again, sometimes a little mystery can be a good thing.

Florence and the Machine – “Breaking Down”

The strangest thing about Florence Welch’s latest video is the fact that we see the famously lavish dresser in a modest one-piece swimsuit. Am I the only one who almost didn’t recognize her at first?

Muse – “Survival”

Say what you will about Muse, but you can’t deny that those dudes know how to write one hell of an epic song. It’s a perfect soundtrack for images of awe-inspiring athletic feats from past Olympic Games.

Odd Future – Sam Is Dead

What starts off looking like an outtake from Oliver Stone’s Platoon ends in classic Odd Future fashion when Tyler, the Creator (and a few body doubles) get shot execution-style by a military dictator also played by, you guessed it, Tyler.

Porcelain Raft – “The Way In”

It doesn’t take much to keep Mauro Remiddi (AKA Porcelain Raft) occupied. A fishbowl and some crazy light-up binoculars do the trick for the entirety of his latest video.

Santigold – “The Keepers”

The family in this video from Santigold seems to be acting funny. Maybe it has something to do with all that radioactive glowing fish they’ve been eating for dinner every night.

Sigur Rós – “Rembihnútur”

As if there might have been any doubt, watching people peacefully meditate is much more pleasing than seeing Shia Labeouf in the nude.

Spiritualized – “Little Girl”

Escaping a bleak, post-Soviet small town is considerably easier when you know how to handle a motorcycle like a seasoned stuntman (or in this case, stuntwoman).
