Technical difficulties delayed the start of The Cure’s headlining performance at Spain’s Bilbao BBK Live festival on Thursday night. So, to kill time, Robert Smith performed a solo acoustic set featuring renditions of Three Imaginary Boys, Fire in Cairo, and Boys Dont Cry”. This sort of thing doesn’t happen often, and as Smith said to close his performance, “Thats why its The Cure and not Robert Smith. Watch a rip of the webcast below (via slicing up eyeballs).
