Muse has delayed the release of its new album The 2nd Law until October, according to NME. Originally due out in the U.S. on September 18th, the band’s sixth LP will now hit stores on October 2nd. While the band did not give a reason for the delay, September 18th is a particularly cluttered day for new alt-rock releases, including The Killers, Band of Horses, and Ben Folds Five. Meanwhile, October 2nd promises a much more diverse batch of albums, including Kendrick Lamar, Matt & Kim, Flying Lotus, and Van Morrison.
