rolling stones 501 Report: The Rolling Stones to play shows in London, Brooklyn in November

The Rolling Stones will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a pair of shows at both London’s O2 Arena and Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in November, according to a source for Billboard.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood last toured together in 2007; however, in recent months, the band has hinted at future performances as part of its semicentennial activies.

“In the autumn… You will definitely be seeing us all together soon,” Jagger answered when recently asked by London Evening Standard if the band would soon perform live. “It’s been great fun being back together and there are a lot of memories in here. I can’t believe it’s been 50 years. We’ve been hanging out together, seeing quite a bit of each other and we want to do some gigs.”

What’s more, all four band members spent time together in a Paris studio last week, reports Rolling Stone. Jagger confirmed the news on Twitter, tweeting a picture of himself in the studio with the caption “Had fun in the Paris studio this week!”
