 Stream: Tame Impala Lonerism

Australian psych rockers Tame Impala are streaming their sophomore album, Lonerism, right now over at NPR.org. A followup to their 2010 Innerspeaker debut, all 12 songs on the record were recorded by frontman Kevin Parker, with mixing held by David Fridmann. Lonerism is due out October 9th via Modular.

Freelance Whales will also release their sophomore album, Diluvia, on October 9th via Mom+Pop Music and Frenchkiss Records. Two years removed from their Weathervanes debut, this new album adds a “liberal use of electronics and more aggressive rhythm” to their baroque pop style. You can stream the new album now at NPR.org.

The debut record from L.A.-based band Lord Huron, Lonesome Dreams, is set for an October 9th release from IAMSOUND. Blending “indie-choirboy folk music” with “polyrhythmic playfulness”, the the ten-track effort is also now streaming at NPR.org.
