Led Zeppelin have announced premieres in four countries for their concert film Celebration Day. The film, which captures their legendary 2007 reunion performance at London’s O2 Arena, will first premiere October 9th at New York City’s Ziegfeld Theater. A press conference at the MoMA will precede it, featuring a discussion with John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and Jason Bonham.
On October 12th, Page and Plant will attend London’s premiere at the Hammersmith Apollo. There will be a limited number of tickets for this event, priced at £20, which fans can purchase here. Shortly following, Berlin will have its premiere on October 15th with Jones in attendance, while Tokyo will celebrate their reunion on October 16th with Page appearing. The film’s worldwide theatrical release remains set for October 17th over 1,500 screens in over 40 territories.
Finally, on November 19th, Swan Song/Atlantic Records will issue the concert on DVD, CD, and Blu-Ray over multiple formats, including a deluxe edition that packs in exclusive bonus content such as the band’s Shepperton rehearsals and BBC footage.
