The Rolling Stones have confirmed a pair of long-rumored 50th anniversary concerts in London and Newark (and not Brooklyn as originally reported). According to RollingStone.com, the band will perform at London’s O2 Arena on November 25th and 29th and at Newark’s Prudiental Center on December 13th and 15th. Tickets for the Newark show range from $95 to $750, so now might be a good time to sell that spare kidney.
These dates mark the band’s first performances together since 2007 and highlight an anniversary campaign that already includes a career-spanning compilation featuring two new songs in addition to a documentary set to premiere on HBO in November. Below, you listen to their new song “Doom and Gloom” and watch a video announcing the concerts.
