Black Sabbath’s complete original lineup won’t be reuniting for the band’s upcoming tour or at Ozzfest Japan, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still relive the glory days of the metal legends. On December 12th, Universal Music will release Black Sabbath: The Vinyl Collection: 1970-1978 in the U.K., culling from the band’s prolific early years.

All nine of Sabbath’s albums from the period – Black SabbathParanoid, Master Of RealityVolume 4Sabbath Bloody SabbathSabotage, Technical EcstasyNever Say Dieand Live At Last – will be fully remastered on 12″ vinyl from the band’s personal archives. Master of Reality comes with a poster and Volume 4 has a photo insert book. The set also contains a 7″ single of the band’s debut track, “Evil Woman”, B-sided with “Wicked World”, plus a 12″ square hard-backed book featuring original tour programs from their 1970, 1975, 1976, and 1978 tours.

A lucky 50 fans can also nab a limited edition print of the box design. All purchases come with a download voucher for the entire set (anyone else feel their MP3-ripping turntable is useless?). Pre-orders are currently going on at Universal’s UK store.
