The 37th track on Sufjan Stevens’ new Christmas compilation Silver & Gold is mislabeled on Bandcamp.”Alphabet” should actually read “Alphabet St.” as in the name of Prince’s lead single off 1988’s Lovesexy. Yes, Sufjy included a Prince cover on his Christmas album, and it’s a pretty solid reinterpretation with galactic sound effects accompanying his best attempts at crooning. Listen below.
