Pearl Jam has designed yet another bootleg series that will whet the collective appetite of their millions of fans. The “Instant Classic” series will boast the latest recordings of gigs that the band feel are “one for the books.” Their lone 2012 hedlining performance in Missoula, MT on September 30th is the gig that kicks off the special series.

Currently, the band is offering the Missoula bootleg for $4.99 at their official website, which will bump up to $9.99 on November 13th. However, during this timeframe all sales from the show will go towards The Poverello Center in Missoula. Throw your cash to a good cause now, and preview the recording with a cut of “Kick Out the Jams” featuring fellow veterans Mudhoney below.

In related news, and not to bring down the good-natured vibes of this piece, but bassist Jeff Ament recently told Guerilla Candy that “there really are no plans right now” for Pearl Jam in 2013, save for a couple of festival appearances.

He added: “People want to know what’s going on with the next record and I think everybody has sort of talked about it, but it still really isn’t anything. We still don’t really know exactly when we will finish it so it’s hard to talk about it. It really could be anything at this point. Even though we have seven or eight songs recorded it’s still sort of a blank slate and that’s exciting.”

So, there’s that.
