According to The Nashville Scene, Alabama Shakes frontwoman Brittany Howard was robbed at gunpoint in Nashville last Saturday night. Howard, Serpents and Snakes Records general manager Seth Riddle, and members of Nashville rock band Clear Plastic Masks were sitting on the porch of a home owned by a local producer Andrija Tokic when two “skinny little” teenage males wearing hoodies approach them, drew guns, and demanded money. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the assailants only made off with a “few dozen dollars in cash and some cellphones.”

Alabama Shakes are still on the road supporting their debut LP Boys & Girls; check out their upcoming tour docket here.
