As RollingStone.com points out, The Rolling Stones briefly teased an appearance at Coachella 2013 on their mobile app. Earlier this morning, the “Tour” section of the app was updated to include “Coachella 2013”. The date was pulled a few hours later, but not before a few fans managed to grab a screen shot (which you can see below).
The band has no upcoming tour dates scheduled beyond their show in Newark this Saturday, though they have hinted at further activities in 2013, specifically an appearance at the UK’s Glastonbury Music Festival.
Coachella 2013 takes place over two weekends from April 12th-14th and April 19th-21st in Indio, California. Several acts have already self-confirmed appearances at the festival, including Rodriguez, Paul Kalkbrenner, Kill the Noise, Hardwell, and Bingo Players. Other likely acts (based on tour schedules) include Sigur Rós, Passion Pit, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Beach House, Tegan and Sara, Stars, and Local Natives. Stay tuned to Festival Outlook for additional updates.
