Chief Keef will serve 60 days in prison for violating his probation. The sentence was handed down by Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker, who earlier this week ruled that the 17-year-old Chicago rapper (born Keith Cozart) violated probation when he appeared to handle a rifle at a shooting range in a video for Pitchfork. He is currently on probation for pointing a gun at a Chicago police officer in January 2011.
DNA Info reports that Keef said to the judge, “I beg you please. Give me one more chance to show you… I am a very good hearted person. I have not picked up any more cases… That’s not my life anymore.”
Chief Keef’s sentencing comes less than a month after the release of his major label debut album, Finally Rich.
