Details have emerged for Mad Season’s long gestating reissue of their lone 1995 album, Above. Due out April 2nd, two weeks ahead of the previously-reported April 16th date, the set spans two discs and one DVD (via

The first disc features the original 10-track album, one unreleased track, a remix, and a trio of songs written and sung by Mark Lanegan originally intended for the band’s sophomore album. The second disc offers a recording of their final show ever at Seattle’s Moore Theatre, while the accompanying video is featured on DVD alongside a New Year’s Eve performance in Seattle and a couple radio appearances.

Vinyl enthusiasts will find solace in a Record Store Day exclusive release of the album, which will come issued on double vinyl and hit stores April 20th. Pre-orders for the standard release, however, are ongoing via Pearl Jam’s website.
