Portland’s electro-pop export STRFKR drops their new album Miracle Mile on February 19th, complete with bona fide jams “While I’m Still Alive” , “Leave It All Behind” and the cool-down “Say To You”. Lead singer Josh Hodges sent us some of his favorite tracks he’s been queuing up lately — and keeping true to STRFKR’s form, they’re all pocket-sized modern pop classics. Check out and subscribe the Rdio playlist below.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra – “So Good at Being in Trouble”
Just a brilliant song. So much soul. I love the direction Ruban is heading with this record.

Trust – “f.t.f.”
For both shawn and myself, this whole record was the winter sound track for 2012. It’s a perfect album to me.

Tame Impala – “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards”
So instantly lovable and catchy. He sounds so much like John Lennon or maybe Syd Barrett

Mac DeMarco – “She’s Really All I Need”
Catchy, funny, great video. Love this guy.

Micachu and the Shapes – “Easy”
I’ve been waiting for her second album since I played out the first. I love the new record.

Blood Orange – “S’cooled”
It was hard to pick a song from this record, mother perfect record to me. There’s nothing I don’t like about it.

The Whitest Boy Alive- “Courage”
The guitar is crazy pretty, style and tone.

Para One, Tacteel – “A1”
An automatic head-nodding song, with its sticky bass and drums.

Kendrick Lamar – “The Recipe”
Getting me ready for moving to LA, and I’m into it’s dark, repetetive progression.

Michael Kiwanuka – “Tell Me a Tale”
Just so much soul.
