Kanye doesn’t fuck with “Suit & Tie”, and Jay-Z doesn’t fuck with vocals. While one half of The Throne was ranting away in London last night, the other traveled to Atlanta for a surprise appearance at a concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def Recordings. The only problem? The DJ only had backing tracks with vocals.

“I ain’t have to come out here for that, you could have just put a picture of me up there,” Jay-Z explained to Dupri after the DJ played “PSA” and “Niggas in Paris” with vocals. “I came a long way, I got to do this shit right.” So instead, Jay-Z went all a capella and dropped a few bars of “Jigga What” and his full verse on “Clique”.

Just when you thought you’ve seen this guy do everything, he goes and does this. (I hope Justin’s DJ is watching.)
