Thom Yorke’s Atoms for Peace project continues to entertain. As Pitchfork points out, the band’s label, XL Recordings, devised an ingenius plan to how they’ll sell 100 limited edition, hand-screenprinted copies of the band’s forthcoming 12″, “Judge, Jury and Executioner”. Specifically, they tore a page from Shirley Jackson and went with the ever historic lottery game. Watch as Mr. Yorke finds his inner Bob Barker in the short clip below. (Spoiler alert: Seattle’s Sonic Boom Records won out.)

The band’s full-length debut, AMOK, is currently available everywhere and they’ll appear at a number of festivals overseas in support. In related news, Yorke recently unloaded two hours’ worth of unreleased solo material and one Radiohead track this past weekend on BBC Radio 1.
