Earlier this year, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy and Dawn McCarthy teamed up to issue the collaborative covers LP What the Brothers Sang, which not only pays tribute to the legendary rock ‘n’ roll group The Everly Brothers, but re-imagines the classic songs for modern listeners. This summer, the pair will take the album to the open road, backed by Emmett Kelly, Cheyenne Mize, and Van Campbell. In addition to two stops in Alaska, they’ll be making appearances at the Dawson City Music Festival in the Yukon and Rhode Island’s Newport Folk Festival. See all the dates below.
