Thurston Moore’s Chelsea Light Moving recently stopped by Seattle’s KEXP Studios, where they not only punched out a tight set but jammed together a new crunchy classic. Inspired by a DJ and her candy bar, Moore calls it “The Ecstasy” and it’s an extension of the same popcorn fuzz and disassembled chaos that poured over their recent self-titled debut. If you’re not too queasy from the coffee and fat-free blueberry scone this morning, chew on this chunk of alternative cheeba below (via NPR).
In semi-related news, Moore also has a new single on the way for Joyful Noise. Check out all the details on that here.
