Listen to Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin’s dreamy new single, “Harrison Ford”

Missouri indie-pop outfit Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin has unveiled “Harrison Ford”, the second single off their upcoming fourth studio album, Fly By Wire. It’s not strikingly apparent what the man who clearly shot first has to do with this track; there are no mentions of snakes, replicants, or planes that Ford would like you to disembark. What is present, however, is instrumentation adrift in the gloaming, with head-bop beckoning drums and the gentle crawl of piano. Maybe the connection is in the dreamily delivered lyrics, like “Wild eyes, you don’t have to be good.” Now that sounds like Han Solo.

Fly By Wire is due out September 17th via Polyvinyl. For more sounds, be sure to check out the vibrant lead single, “Nightwater Girlfriend”.
