Mudhoney will follow the lead of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and head to the top one of the country’s tallest buildings. As Examiner reports and the band’s Twitter account confirms, the Seattle grunge rockers will kick off the 25th anniversary celebration of their record label, Sub Pop, by performing atop the Space Needle on July 11th. For context, the building stands 605 feet off the ground.
According to Examiner, the band “will be safely tethered on the top of the famous Seattle landmark playing the music that made the city famous in the early 90s.”
