Someone give Fleetwood Mac the Lifetime Achievement Award for 2013. Not only did they return for one of this year’s biggest tours, but their influence continues to wash over just about everyone: HAIM, Dave Grohl, Trent Reznor, and now Bat for Lashes. Last night, the Natasha Khan-led moniker stopped by London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, where the singer tried out a cover of Stevie Nicks’ classic 1975 hit, “Rhiannon”.
“This is a one-off cover we have never played before,” Khan instructed. “It’s a song by one of my favourite ladies so I’m going to try and do it some justice.”
Let’s just say, she went full Pacino and delivered justice for all. And given that last night marked the end of her campaign supporting last year’s The Haunted Man, consider this a treat. Watch below via NME.
