From time to time, Kanye West likes to let off a little steam with a good old fashioned rant. Back in February, he rallied against corporate sponsorship, the Grammys, and Justin Timberlake while on stage in London. Tonight, West’s taken to Twitter to verbally assault one Jimmy Kimmel.

This latest episode stems from a recent segment on Kimmel’s show, wherein children recreated West’s mind-blowing BBC Radio 1 interview. For his part, Kanye pulled no punches, attacking everything from Kimmel’s credibility as a late-night host to some decidedly personal potshots. Here is the blow-by-blow recap:

West ended the tirade (at least for now) by tweeting these pics, further proving he’s damn good at Photoshop

Like a true jokester, Kimmel’s responses focused primarily on poking and prodding the Louis Vuitton-wearing bear:

Unlike that twerking incident from last week, Kimmel promised this wasn’t another prank, with a full explanation to be aired on tonight’s episode. Guess we’ll just have to stay tuned tonight.

Update: Kimmel did in fact respond to Kanye’s comment during tonight’s show. He said a “very angry” Kanye called him about an hour and a half before show time, demanding a public apology or “your life is going to be much better if you apologize.” Kimmel proceeded to read Kanye’s tweets one by one and included a jab at Kanye’s girlfriend, Kim Kardashian (“I’ve seen the video, I know,” Kimmel said in regards to Kanye’s “too much good pussy” tweet). Kimmel continued by recounting more lines from their phone call, in which Kanye said, “I’m the most powerful voice in media, I’m Pac” and that Kanye told him “you’ll never be able to show your face at a 14-year-old’s high school football game again.” Kimmel closed, “Finally, I’m in a rap feud.”
