Listen to Ejecta’s glowing synth-pop anthem, “Afraid Of The Dark”

Neon Indian’s Leanne Macomber and Ford & Lopatin’s Joel Ford have teamed up to form a new electro-pop duo called Ejecta. Last month we heard their sparkling cut “Jeremiah (The Denier)”, and now arrives another new one, “Afraid Of The Dark”. The track sheds its title’s ominousness in favor of a spritely and buoyant ambiance, awash in dreamy, ’80s-style synths and Macomber’s glossy vox. Though not an arena-sized gut-buster by any means, its electronic sweeps are truly electric and have quite the anthemic aftereffects.

Both “Jeremiah (The Denier)” and “Afraid Of The Dark” will appear on Ejecta’s forthcoming debut album, Dominae, due out November 11th via Driftless Recordings.
