Franz Ferdinand have teamed with video director Diane Martel, who’s still riding high from the success of her work on Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” video. With Franz, Martel celebrates Halloween a month early by turning “Evil Eye” into a gruesome, over-the-top B horror film. As you can see above, it takes its name quite literally, though my favorite part of the video comes at the 30-second mark. No longer do I have to rely on Scanners for my head explosion GIFs.
“Evil Eye” appears on Franz Ferdinand’s new album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action.
