So, Boards of Canada are in a new Nike commercial — or, at least their music is. The shoe conglomerate’s skateboarding division has uploaded a strange short film to YouTube, which follows around 1999 Thrasher of the Year Brian Anderson as he gets ready to suit up, board up, and… be splattered with pink paint. All the while, the hazy, discombobulated Tomorrow’s Harvest track “Reach for the Dead” grows and swarms as its soundtrack. Come to think of it, the whole thing has a very late ’90s vibe.
