Since its inception in 2006, Los Angeles-based Manimal Vinyl has curated a handful of covers albums inspired by The Cure, Madonna, and David Bowie. On February 25th, the label will pay homage to Duran Duran with Making Patterns Rhyme.

It will feature covers from Moby, Liars (“Ordinary World”), Warpaint (“The Chauffeur”), Little Dragon (“Save A Prayer”), and former American Idol contestant Allison Iraheta, among others. As Manimal notes, they “intentionally chose album cuts and B-sides rather than the worldwide smash hits that Duran Duran is known for.”

Proceeds from the album will be donated to Amnesty International. A full tracklist will be announced in January.

Making Patterns Rhyme Tentative Tracklist:
Warpaint – “The Chauffeur”
Little Dragon – “Save A Prayer”
Barbarian – “Late Bar”
Service Bells – “Anyone Out There?”
Louise Burns – “Land”
The Holiday Crowd – “Friends of Mine”
Beliefs – “Sound of Thunder”
Grimes – TBA
Juliette Lewis – TBA
Moby – TBA
Allison Iraheta + Halo Circus – “Do You Believe In Shame?”
Liars – “Ordinary World”
