Earlier this month, Rick Ross lent his lyrical prowess to an extra classy remix of Drake’s latest chart-topper and Nothing Was The Same standout “Hold On, We’re Going Home”. Now, he’s tackling Lorde’s super hit “Royals”. On the one hand, it’s pretty counter-intuitive that Ross drops rhymes about “new fur rugs” and counting money in the mansion of his attic within a song lambasting our obsessive consumer culture. If nothing else, though, Ross sounds as silky smooth as ever, proving that an outright denial of context is possible if you’ve got enough bass in your voice. Listen in below (via InFlexWeTrust).
