What with SNL appearances, the Colbert bump, secret gigs, and performing with Neil Young, you’d think Arcade Fire had given Reflektor more than enough publicity. But with just one day before the album’s release, the Canadian act is keeping the pedal to the metal. Beginning at 10pm EST, Win Butler and Co. will perform a “First Listen” session for NPR live from L.A.’s Capitol Studios, where they’ll showcase several songs from their new record. You can listen in on public radio stations nationwide, or stream it live at the NPR website.
Update: The stream is available to replay through NPR.
For those wanting to actually see the band, they’ve also announced several new dates as The Reflektors. Following this week’s California gigs, which include tomorrow’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and a Halloween show, the band will head to Europe for a short run in mid-November. Consult the full schedule below.
