speedyortiz Speedy Ortiz announces Real Hair EP, stream new song Everythings Bigger

Speedy Ortiz will follow their excellent full-length, Major Arcana, with a new EP titled Real Hair. Due out on February 11th via Carpark, the four-song release was recorded with Paul Q. Kolderie (Pixies, Radiohead).

Frontwoman Sadie Dupuis described the EP in a statement saying, “While the last album was kind of a breakup jam, these songs are a lot more introspective—myself dealing with and talking to and making sense of myself.” Listen to one of them, a spiky cut dealing with horrors and fears dubbed “Everything’s Bigger” below.

Real Hair Tracklist:
01. American Horror
02. Oxygal
03. Everything’s Bigger
04. Shine Theory

The band will be on the road the next few months playing alongside The Breeders, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, and Los Campesinos! Check out the full itinerary.
