This week, dream-pop outfit A Sunny Day in Glasgow make their triumphant return with the single “In Love With Useless (The Timeless Geometry In The Tradition Of Passing)”. The first bit of new music since their 2010 album Autumn, Again, the stunning track showcases the band relishing manically and outlandishly in pure, unadulterated joy. High on life, they dole out five minutes of sonic surprises, equal parts kooky and freakish, contagious and inspiring. While the above press shot might paint the band in muted black-and-white, A Sunny Day in Glasgow in 2014 seem to be anything but drab and one-dimensional. Listen in below.
A Sunny Day in Glasgow is expected to release a new full-length sometime this year.
