Listen: Damon Albarn’s new song “Heavy Seas Of Love”

on January 28, 2014, 2:48pm

Last week, we heard two new songs off Everyday Robots, the debut solo album from Damon Albarn, due out April 29th via Warner Bros. Records. Now, yet another piece of the 12-track effort has surfaced: a light, piano-led tune titled “Heavy Seas Of Love”.

The LP’s closing track sees Albarn reassuring a hesitant loved one, singing, “When the world is too tall, you can jump you won’t fall, you’re in safe hands”. It’s not quite as lush as the string-backed “Lonely, Press Play”, but does include the additional vocals of a charming backup choir.
