They join a lineup that already includes Kraftwerk, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Laurie Anderson, Dan Deacon, The Gaslamp Killer, RJD2, Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks, Darkstar, Shigeto, Wolf Eyes, Le1f, Daedelus, Art Department, Adult., Soul Clap, TOKiMONSTA, and Nick Monaco.

As for the daytime, Moogfest promises “five days of mind-expanding conversation, experimentation, and collaboration for creative and technology professionals” taking place seven Asheville venues. Laurie Anderson, Giorgio Moroder, and Cliff Martinez were previously announced as guest speakers; now, the festival has recruited Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner and Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox to “create immersive, improvisatory sound installations on Moog hardware and software,” with visuals provided by ex-Black Dice/Lightning Bolt member Hisham Bharoocha. Dan Deacon and YACHT’s Claire Evans are also scheduled to take part in daytime activities.
