Former Pearl Jam business manager sentenced to 14 months in prison after stealing from band

on March 01, 2014, 12:29pm

Rickey Charles Goodrich, the former chief financial officer at Pearl Jam’s management company, was sentenced to 14 months in prison after pleading guilty to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the band, according to Seattle Post Intelligencer.

During his four-year stint with the band, Goodrich stole $380,000, using the money to pay his own debts. He also used the band’s credit cards to pay for personal expenses, including family vacations and wine.

Goodrich pled guilty to six counts of first-degree theft. He would have had his sentence reduced to six months if he paid back the band prior to yesterday, but failed to do so.
