A fourth person has died from injuries sustained in the car crash that occurred at South by Southwest earlier this month, according to KVUE.com. De’Andre Tatum, 18, of Fort Worth, TX had been in a medically induced coma since the March 13th crash. He was pronounced dead on Thursday.

Two others, Steven Craenmehr, 35, of the Netherlands and Jamie Ranae West, 27, of Austin were pronounced dead at the scene. Sandy Le, of Pass Christian, Mississippi, died several days later at a hospital.

The driver, identified as Rashad Owens of Killen, TX, has already been charged with one count of capital murder. He is currently in the Travis County Jail with bail set at $3 million dollars.

Owens was reportedly driving to the venue where he was set to perform Wednesday night when police attempted to pull him over at a DUI checkpoint. Police allege that Owens evaded the checkpoint and turned onto Red River, where he struck more than  20 pedestrians before turning onto East 11th and crashing into a moped and a van. He attempted to flee on foot, but was tased and apprehended by police offers.

Owens’ brother, Lamar Wilson, told the Statesman that Owens had been drinking and was unfamiliar with the streets of Austin.
